What are the most common issues a mommy makeover may resolve?
Pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding affect every woman differently. Common concerns include deflated or enlarged breasts, sagging skin, uneven breast size, stubborn belly or hip fat, stretch marks, and a loss of body shape.
Is combining different surgeries safe?
Yes, when done by a qualified surgeon. Combining procedures into one surgery can save money and shorten your total recovery time compared to doing them separately.
What are the risks of a mommy makeover?

How can I keep my results?
Staying at a steady weight helps keep your results. Getting pregnant again or big weight changes can undo them.
Can I have a mommy makeover if I plan to have more kids?
It’s usually safe to get pregnant after a mommy makeover, but it will likely undo your results. Most surgeons suggest waiting until you’re done having children.
Can scars be made less visible?
Most scars fade well on their own. Massaging the scar, using silicone-based scar treatments, and staying out of the sun can all help.
Can a C-section scar be improved?
Since a flatter, smoother belly is a main goal of the surgery, your surgeon will often try to improve the look of a C-section scar at the same time.
Will using the bathroom be hard after surgery?
Some women find it takes longer than normal to urinate for the first few days. If you have real pain or unusual bowel changes, call your surgeon.
When can I buy new clothes?
Wait about eight weeks so swelling goes down before buying new sizes — including new bras and underwear.
Is a mommy makeover only for moms?
No. Anyone bothered by extra fat or skin in the belly or thighs, or sagging or deflated breasts, may benefit — you don’t need to have had kids.
Do I need all three surgeries (tummy tuck, breast surgery, liposuction)?
No. Some women only need one or two of these. Your surgeon will help you figure out what fits your goals.
Does tanning affect breast implants?
You can tan or use saunas after getting implants, but it may make scars more visible.
Surgical Assurance Program — Terms
Healera is a complimentary benefit provided by Alderwood Surgical Center, LLC dba Allure Esthetic ("the Center") and is included in your surgical care at no additional charge. It reimburses medically necessary revision surgery for covered post-surgical complications diagnosed within the assurance period, up to $15,000 per covered revision.
Healera is not insurance that you purchase, and it gives you no rights against any insurance company. It is the Center's own commitment to you, provided as part of the care you already chose.
Healera does not guarantee any cosmetic result. No surgery can be guaranteed. Healera covers defined post-surgical complications. it is not a promise of any particular aesthetic outcome.
What is covered. Medically necessary revision surgery for a covered post-surgical complication — including infection requiring surgery; hematoma or seroma requiring surgical drainage; capsular contracture (Baker Grade III–IV) requiring surgery where an implant is involved; confirmed implant rupture or deflation; and implant or tissue displacement requiring surgical correction — diagnosed by a Center provider within the assurance period.
What is not covered. Revisions sought solely because of aesthetic preference; complications arising from smoking or nicotine use, failure to follow post-operative instructions, missed follow-up visits, injury or accident, or significant weight or pregnancy changes; pre-existing conditions; and procedures not performed by a Center provider at a Center facility.
What you must do. Contact the Center promptly — within 30 days of noticing a possible complication — keep your scheduled follow-up visits, and follow your written post-operative instructions.
Participation in Healera does not waive, limit, or release any of your legal rights, including any right to pursue a claim for negligence or malpractice. It is a benefit provided in addition to — not in place of — those rights.
Amounts above $15,000 per covered revision are addressed by your surgeon on a case-by-case basis. By participating, you authorize the Center to use and disclose the records reasonably necessary to administer Healera, consistent with our Notice of Privacy Practices (HIPAA).
